what are the defense barrieres?

Natural barriers and the inmune system defend the body against organism that can cause infection (See also Lines of Defense.)

Natural barriers include the skin, mucous membranes, tears, earwax, mucus, and stomach acid. Also, the normal flow of urine washes out microorganisms that enter the urinary tract.

The immune system uses white blood cell and antibodies to identify and eliminate organisms that get through the body’s natural barriers.

There are two types of defense barriers: the physical and chemicals barriers.

what is a  physical barrier?

Physical barrier is the environmental and natural condition that act as a barrier in communication in sending message from sender to receiver. Organizational environment or interior workspace design problems, technological problems and noise are the parts of physical barriers.

What is chemical barrier?

The chemical characteristics of certain areas of the body that oppose colonization by microorganisms. The acidity of gastric juice, for example, prevents colonization by most disease-causing germs.
